How much is your water bill? Having a dispute with my former landlord - I found out he was billing me for water I did not use - he has a hose attached behind my unit that he uses for watering his garden/lawn and all around the property - and that hose is attached to my water meter. According to water dept, will be hard for me to figure out how much I am owed since I did not find out until just recently that this is happening - lived in his rental for over two years. So I'm trying to do a survey of how much people's water bills are. I calculated about $450 and he said he won't give me any more than $150. (Plus he is still trying to hold my deposit - another story - if interested, check other questions I posted - he's a friggin jerk agh!) My bills range from $100 - $140 every two months. I live alone, no dishwasher, no laundry. Only shower, toilet, and wash dishes in the sink. One bill, I was out of the country for three weeks and still bill was $99. Looks like I'll have to go to small claims so I want to be fair and have all my ammo when I get to court. Anyone have any ideas?... Read More »
